Celebrate Life in Downtown Villa Rica Downtown Villa Rica is making progress in developing into an area with popular restaurants and quality shopping.
Along with many professional offices, the Main Street area is where one can find almost any service or merchandise a person or family needs. There are clothing stores, furniture stores, accountants, dentists, insurance agents, stockbrokers, hair salons, antique stores, home decorating expertise, bookstores, attorneys and gardening supplies along with several top quality restaurants. Come on downtown, park in some of the newly built and landscaped lots and walk around the Main Street area. You will be surprised what is available and enjoy meeting the wonderful people of Villa Rica.

Villa Rica officials announced the city will proclaim “Georgia Cities Week” April 19 – 25. The city will observe events this week including a “Downtown” Town Hall Meeting and celebrate past and future projects that make Villa Rica a great place to shop, dine, play, tour and live. The theme of this year’s Georgia Cities Week is “Destination Downtown”, showing the importance of a central gathering place for people and communities. This is the 16th year Georgia Cities Week has been celebrated in the state.

Cities across Georgia will celebrate Georgia Cities Week, sponsored by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), to showcase and celebrate cities and the many services they provide. Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and consulting services to its 521 member cities.
